How to make your own homemade pizza sauce for the holidays

This recipe makes just enough sauce to make a few pizzas, and the flavors and textures are so unique, you might as well make a batch.

The recipe is a great way to use up leftover pizza dough, but it’s also a perfect way to add flavor to your favorite holiday meals.

You’ll need:1.3-2 cups of frozen pizza dough1 cup of water1 tablespoon of olive oil1 tablespoon olive oil2 tablespoons white wine2 teaspoons garlic salt, to taste1/2 cup of tomato sauce1/4 cup of vinegar1/8 teaspoon of salt1/3 cup of flour 1 cup of milk1/6 cup of cheese, shredded1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese1 cup white onions, sliced2-3 cups of spinach, chopped1/5 cup of sliced mushrooms, sliced1 cup diced tomatoes, diced1 cup frozen cranberries, frozen1 cup sliced blueberries, canned1/7 cup of fresh basil, chopped2 cups sliced green onions, diced3 tablespoons butter, melted2 tablespoons flour1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon black pepper1/16 teaspoon ground cinnamon1/32 teaspoon freshly ground black pepperThe first step is to make the dough: Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the water and stir to combine.

Add in the vinegar and salt and let it simmer for a few minutes.

Add in your olive oil, wine, garlic, salt, and tomato sauce.

Cover and cook on medium-low heat until the water has reduced by about half.

Let the sauce cool and allow to sit for 10 minutes.

When the water is almost completely cool, add in your flour and mix until combined.

If you’re using canned, the flour will become quite liquidy.

You may have to stir it in to get it to form a cohesive mass.

Now add your shredded mozarella cheese, basil, mushrooms, blueberries and tomatoes to the pan.

Cook for a couple of minutes until the cheese is melted and starting to brown.

Once the cheese has melted, add the spinach, cranberries and mushrooms and cook until they’re wilted.

Transfer to a plate and cover with a lid and let sit for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix your shredded cheese with flour and add to the saucepan.

When it’s all combined, stir in your tomato sauce and cheese.

Continue to cook until the sauce has thickened and the cheese melts.

Remove from heat and serve hot. Enjoy!
